Jes Rickleff
Jes Rickleff is the "winner" of VH1's "Rock of Love". She lives in Kearney, Nebraska and works at a salon called "Bang". Jes Rickleff is not really emo but she got this really nice pink highlights and thats worth mentioning her on this blog. It takes an enormous amount of self confidence to wear pink hair and she's just oozing with it.13 comments
I want to know exactly how jes hair is cut and where the pink is applied. I tried to get mine done and what a diaster, I have fried hair and broken heart.Any way I thought that the pink was applied to the very ends of her hair ? Please help I am going back to her to see if she can correct it.

Hi,
All you have to do is bleach your hair if you have dark hair, there are kits available. Just make sure you scrape off a little bit of the bleach now and then to check the colour. Then apply the pink, and in the case of that pic it is from root to tip. It'll take about 30mins, you may have to get the pink online. It fades really fast, you have to reapply the pink every couple of weeks.

I already have this hair style and its really easy to do. All you need to do is bleach your hair and then do the first 3 inches of your hairline pink. People with darker hair are concernd they cant get the same whit/blonde color, but my hair was black and now its white. You just have to go to your local Hot Topic, and get the bleach they have there. It's called white out and its only like $12. The only colors they have there are semi permanent, so either get those or go to Spencers. At Spencers they have plenty of permanent dye.

Wow back 'atcha. First of all try using caps, and second of all: I've always had weird hair and I had mine before she did. Also I realy love how it looks on her (I did totally steal her eyebrows though...)
5 years old: Down to my waist blue at the roots and slowly fading to purple
6 years old: Shamrock green down to my shoulders and curly
7 years old: JUST LIKE JES!
8 years old: three inches long and fire engine red
Need I go on?
By the way I'm 15 and Emo kids (the real ones not the whiney brats) are cool. They're just people like you and me...well me any way. Emo kids don't hate unless you mess with them

I had a Mohawk like a year ago and my hair grew out but i just cut it long in the front and short in the back so i could spike it up(like hers^^)but heres the thing..it wont spike!! My Bed Head hairspray isn't keeping it up and i don't know what to do..Please help or give me some awesome tips on how to keep it up.

1)Use a thickening solution on your hair
2)Try "big sexy" hairspray (thats the name of the brand)
3)Cut your hair just a little shorter
4)At night tie it up on the top of your head and in the morning straighten and add product
5)When you add hairspray hang your head upside down

hey jes, just wanna start off by saying your really cute. but honstly did you go on the show to get noticed. you said your bestfriend and your boyfriemd at the time slept together. so you would think you would be more caring. not walking you to the door come on. and the way you acted when you all came together, its like you didnt even know him, but you said you loved him. dont care i hate reality shows. but you had such a different look and a real caring way about your self. just thought you where different.
