i do mine a lot differently..
i straighten it all, then put hairspray in it.
then i take the top layers and straighten them up, so they're sticking straight up.
then i just brush them out.
works exactly the same.
and its easier.
[the more layers you straighten up, the more volume it has...]

I'm a short hair person, so that's my scene//emo mini-look. Although, if I ever get ambition to grow it out, I'd prolly do stripes in patches and have platnium and black all over.

i absolutley love her hair.
i have been trying so hard to find a place to make sure to get a whole bunch of volume, but it never worked. My laptop is shitty and the soundcard doesn't work. I was just wondering if she had tips in there that she actually said. If so can you email me the tips if you get the chance? Thnks,

If you have madium length hair, It works the same but just start higher up, its what i do but with straightening upwards aswell. x

for this type of hairstyle you need to have straight hair right? do you need a certain lenght of hair or to where should the top layer fall?

I have the emo - cut , :)
&& it is cut like your except medium length .. but i always just straighten it for the choppy look cause i get my hair razor cut - of course XD !
